    Apply: Defyhatenow Africa Fact Check Fellowship

    The #defyhatenow, an initiative that aims to provide community-driven, data-driven solutions to the problem of hate speech mis/mal/disinformation, has launched the sixth Africa Fact Check Fellowship in northern Cameroon.

    The overall objective of the programme is to create a critical mass of fact-checkers, information warriors, online and offline hate speech, and digital rights defenders based in the three northern regions of Cameroon.

    Eligibility

    • Open to journalists, content creators and influencers, digital rights activists, and bloggers
    • Applicants must be between the ages of 17 and 35
