World Vision Finance, Admin Manager

World Vision International is seeking to fill the role of Finance and Administration Manager.
The mission of the organisation includes working with the poor and people who are oppressed as it promotes human transformation.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the senior operations manager in project planning and budgeting work schedule to meet requirements/timelines demanded in NOs and other relevant stakeholders
  • Supervise the team of programme/project accountants to ensure they are clear and in line with project objectives and results with due regard to WVI and donor financial policies and regulations
  • Help the senior operations manager to communicate well on the budget with the relevant stakeholders
  • Receive and verify the budgets of the programmes/projects and ensure compliance with LEAP, the requirements of the support office/donor as well as the commitments made in the MyPBAS
  • Determine the cash flow requirements of the programmes/projects and assist the senior operations manager with the funding request to the NO
  • Participate in the assessment of the financial capacity of potential partners and in the partner selection process, and help them in the planning and budgeting of projects
  • Provide technical support to programmes in the preparation and review of annual LEAP budgets
  • Receive and verify financial data and reports from ADPs/projects and ensure their accuracy, reliability and timely submission
  • Submit the consolidated data to the finance manager or post the reports in the lotus database
  • Visit a database once a month and do a financial review using the project visit checklist

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Three years, minimum, of experience in the field, preferably with humanitarian organisations
