What Design Can Do (WDCD) has announced a call for participation in the No Waste Challenge 2021.

According to the international platform that advocates design as a tool for social change, the challenge aims to reduce waste by rethinking the entire production and consumption cycle.

The No Waste Challenge asks designers to respond to one of three global design briefs. Each brief addresses a different aspect of the waste problem.

Benefits

  • A prize fund of €10,000 each
  • Each winner will get a chance to present a project to a global audience during one of the WDCD’s annual events on design and innovation

Eligibility

  • The challenge is open to students, designers and creative entrepreneurs from all countries
