The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has opened applications for its Kenya Empowered Youth (KEY) programme.
The purpose of this cooperative agreement is to implement the five-year KEY activity aimed at improving the lives of all Kenyan youths, especially marginalised youths.
- USAID will provide US$15 million funding over a five-year period
- Open to US and international higher education institutions, including recognised colleges and universities
- Applicants must have established financial management systems, monitoring and evaluation processes, internal control systems, and policies and procedures that comply with established U.S. government standards, laws, and regulations
