World Vision International (WVI) is currently seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of Regional Talent and Leadership Development Advisor.
The mission of WVI is working with the poor and oppressed to promote human transformation and seek justice.
Responsibilities
- Implement a learning and leadership development framework in the region to enable leadership success across all leadership stages
- Contribute to continuity and quality of leadership through effective talent management and succession planning (integrated talent management programmes and initiatives)
- Design the capacity development strategy for frontline staff
- Develop/manage the capacity building programmes deriving from the strategy
- Participate in the global workforce planning initiative from a regional perspective and act as the regional focal point for the gathering and maintaining of human capital related data
- Implement the Partnership Performance Management programme within the region
Requirements
- Master’s degree preferably in Human Resources or equivalent
- Five years, minimum, of human resources experience (generalist or specialist)
- Experience of working in a global environment
- Project administration experience in a global context
- Learning and development auditing skills
- Knowledge and/or experience of implementing talent management, diversity and inclusion programmes at major organisations
- Experience with workforce planning models or systems
- Excellent interpersonal and marketing skills
- Willingness to challenge the status quo and a passion for excellence
- Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
- Excellent writing and presentation skills combined with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Team player with influencing and very good organisational abilities
- Fluency in French and English
