    Apply: UE Global Excellence Scholarships 2020

    The University of Exeter (UE) is accepting applications for the Global Excellence Scholarships (Sub-Saharan Africa and the Indian Ocean) for the 2020/21 academic session.

    The university is at the forefront of global collaboration. This scholarship has been created to provide the opportunity for more students from these regions to develop their academic talents and contribute to the university’s thriving campus community of students and staff from over 170 countries.

    Benefits

    • The scholarship is awarded as a £5,000–£10,000 reduction in 2020 tuition fees (no cash alternative is available)

    Eligibility:

    • Participants can apply for this scholarship if they are nationals of one of the following countries: Angola, Botswana, Burundi, Cameroon, Central Africa Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo, Ivory Coast, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea Bissau, Guinea, Kenya, Liberia, Malagasy, Malawi, Maldives, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somali, South Africa, Sudan, eSwatini, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe
    • Participants can apply for this scholarship if they are classified as international students for fees purposes
    • Participants can apply for this scholarship if they already hold an offer to start an eligible full-time master’s degree at UE, commencing in September 2020 (participants who are yet to make their master’s programme applications are to visit the university’s postgraduate study pages where they will find links to the online programme application system)
