The Girl Up Leadership Summit (GULS) organised by Girl Up (GU) is an enriching, cross-cultural experience that aims to empower, educate, and activate the potential of young changemakers. Through mentorship from GU experts, thought leaders, celebrity champions and women trailblazers, participants will uncover critical skills and be empowered to serve their communities as defenders of gender equality.
It is a platform for young leaders to learn from influential speakers, engage in skills-based workshops, and participate in a day of action. Furthermore, it is an opportunity for youth leaders to gain the skills, resources, and confidence to make an impact on gender equality in their communities.
In light of the ongoing Covid-19 situation, following the public health guidance of the World Health Organisation (WHO), US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and with the safety of their community top of mind, GU will be hosting the 2020 GULS as a virtual event. The online GU community is a great place to connect with fellow attendees.
