Results for Development (R4D) is seeking a highly motivated and committed Administration and Finance Officer to play a lead role in financial and related administrative matters of the R4D Ethiopia office.

Responsibilities

  • All aspects of financial management and control
  • General administration duties of the country office
  • Work closely with the Country Director, Country Programme Team and the finance team at the headquarters
  • Develop and strengthen good financial management and administration practices in line with R4D’s organisational policies and procedures and relevant laws of Ethiopia
  • Vendor and consultant hiring and contracting

Requirements

  • Ethiopian nationality
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or other related degree
  • Five years of relevant work experience in financial management and office administration, minimum
  • Excellent Quick Books experience
  • Experience working with non-governmental organisation (desirable)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Willingness to travel domestically to support project events outside Addis Ababa
  • High motivation, high sense of responsibility and strong organisational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Creative problem solving and a teamwork
  • High level of integrity
